The Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) report on the impacts of international students in the UK was published on 11th September.  There was widespread disappointment as it recommended that international student numbers in the UK should remain in the net migration figures.  An expansion of some post-study work rights was welcomed although this did not go as far as some had hoped.
